Whether at work or home, Virginia is always busy! She is the proud mum of two energetic boys, as well as The Dental Surgery, Newstead’s skilled Duty Manager. Virginia joined the team as a trainee dental assistant in July 2021, whilst she was in the process of completing her Certificate IV in Leadership & Management. She completed both qualifications in 2022 and was recognised as a finalist at the Tasmanian Training Awards in the same year.
Virginia has a love of learning, and always endeavours to keep her skills up to date. This aligns with The Dental Surgery, Newstead’s focus on continuous improvement and has seen Virginia’s practical skills grow during her tenure.
When she’s not at work or studying, Virginia loves spending time with her family on their picturesque farm which is occupied by many animals, notably their four Border Collies Bronte, Pip, Spike, and Indie, and their friendly Galah Rosie.
