Ebony joined The Dental Surgery, Newstead team in September 2017 and found her passion for dentistry after some encouragement from a neighbour, who had previously been a dental assistant and dental assisting teacher. Ebony completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2018 and is currently studying her Certificate IV in Dental Assisting which she is due to complete towards the end of 2023.
Ebony takes on many duties as the Clinical Coordinator, from training fellow staff members to making sure the Practice has everything it needs to keep running!
Outside of work, Ebony’s favourite thing to do is take her fur babies for walks around Tassie. Hawley Beach is their absolute favourite! Eb has two miniature dachshunds Buster and Clover. When the weather isn’t good enough for a beach walk, Ebony loves spending quality time with her partner Jack and their friends and family. You can also find Ebony as trying out new recipes, making terrariums and going for camping road trips around Tas and up to East Coast of Australia.
