Dentist
Gabbie was born and raised in Tasmania and began her dental career in 2014 as a dental assistant, gaining experience across orthodontics, periodontics, paediatrics, and general dentistry. She moved to Cairns to study at James Cook University, completing placements in Darwin and Mount Isa while continuing to work as a dental assistant throughout her studies. As part of her university studies, Gabbie undertook work experience with the TDSN team in 2018.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2022, Gabbie relocated to Darwin, where she worked across both private practice and the public sector. She provided care to patients in remote Northern Territory communities, developing a strong appreciation for adaptable, patient-centred dentistry in a range of settings.
Gabbie enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in treating anxious patients and children. She focuses on creating a calm, supportive environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their dental health and treatment choices.
In 2026, Gabbie returned to Tasmania to be closer to family. After having completed her work placement at TDSN during her studies, she is excited to return to join the team as a dentist.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling, staying active, and spending time with her rescue dog, Martin – a border collie x staffy who has travelled with her from Cairns to Darwin and back home to Tasmania.
